Reporting a Bug

A good bug report helps us reproduce and fix the issue quickly. Please include as much detail as possible.

What to Include

Describe the issue

Explain what happened. Be specific: “Chart crashes when adding RSI to a 1m BTCUSDT cluster chart” is much more useful than “chart broken.”

Steps to reproduce

List the exact steps needed to trigger the issue:
  1. Open workspace X
  2. Switch to ETHUSDT 5m
  3. Add Absorption Alpha indicator
  4. Scroll back to January 15
  5. Observe: chart freezes for 10 seconds

Expected vs. actual behavior

  • Expected: Chart scrolls smoothly with the indicator loaded.
  • Actual: Chart freezes for 10 seconds and then recovers.

Include a screenshot or screen recording

A screenshot showing the problem is worth a thousand words. If the issue is intermittent or involves animation/behavior, a short screen recording is even better.

Note your version and environment

Include:
  • Cluster Terminal version (visible in Settings or the title bar)
  • Windows version (e.g., Windows 11 23H2)
  • GPU model if the issue is visual

Use this template when reporting a bug:

The more detail you provide, the faster we can reproduce and fix the issue. Vague reports like “it does not work” often require multiple rounds of back-and-forth to diagnose.

Requesting a Feature

Feature requests help us prioritize what to build next. When suggesting a feature:
  1. Describe the problem you are trying to solve, not just the solution. “I want to compare two symbols side by side on the same price scale” is more useful than “add overlay mode.”
  2. Explain your use case — how would this feature fit into your trading workflow?
  3. Provide examples if possible — screenshots from other platforms, sketches, or detailed descriptions of the desired behavior.
  4. Mention priority — is this a nice-to-have or a blocker for your workflow?
We read every feature request. Popular requests that align with the product roadmap get prioritized. Even if a request is not implemented immediately, it informs future design decisions.

What Happens After You Report

  1. Acknowledgment: We confirm receipt of your report (typically within 24 hours on Telegram).
  2. Triage: The issue is categorized by severity and type (bug, feature, improvement).
  3. Investigation: For bugs, we attempt to reproduce the issue.
  4. Resolution: Once fixed or implemented, the change ships in the next update. We will notify you if you reported via Telegram.
